There are many problems include plugging of spray nozzles, fouling of pipes, blinding of sensors, scrubbers, membranes, R/O, and analyzers, and wearing of pump gland seals. The procedure of flushing lasts 5 seconds and uses 2 gallons of water without ever interrupting the flow and the rinse water is sent to the first reclaim tank.
